Yellow Daffodil like bulb in Sidney

Stupidly, I didn't take a picture of this bulb and tho I went there today and picked a dead flower, I can't show you a picture. I'm pretty sure it is a bulb. It was yellow and daffodil (narcissis) like, but "fluffy" almost like a dandelion. It was much shorter than a daff or narcissis and the leaves finer. I found these in Tulista Park in Sidney on the way to the fishing ramp. If anyone knows what they are, please let me know, thanks!

Hi Annie, Wondering if you are in Sydney, Australia or Sydney, Canada. Different hemispheres. There are some miniature double daffodils, eg. 'Pencrebar' and 'Rip Van Winkle'.

 

I'm guessing Annie is in Sidney, BC, by the spelling. Yes, probably a daffodil cultivars.

How about Narcissus Rip van Winkle?It is rather an odd little daffodil. Sorry not a very good pic.
