Wild Roses?

    Are these Wild Roses? I was told they are. I know it's hard to tell by the photo alone but maybe it's good enough.

    BTW this is one of several massive rose bushes at my parents home. One of the bushes climbs higher than the roof of their home by several feet, it's a massive growth of multiple rose bushes
    and over time of me pruning as a child it promoted alot of growth. The bushes are about 15 years old.

    No, I don't think so. I had a look at the Flora of Southeastern USA, and all of the larger roses listed are native to Asia (in particular, China)

    This is a garden rose, wild roses have 5 petals.
