wild flowers Bella Coola id

I found these the second week of July in the Bella Coola valley, BC. The third one (8464) looks quite abit like self heal but not enough to convince me. On the others I am stumped. Many thanks in advance for any suggestions!

1. Looks like Centaurea sp.

#5 -- Melampyrum sp.

 

#3 might be a Penstemon, don't believe it is Prunella vulgaris.

 

Thanks for the great calls and the link to centaurea. It matches exactly centaurea montana. I just wonder why it isn't in any of my otherwise pretty good books.

The melampyrum looks like lineare, bokk says it should be in dry, well-drained spots. It was in really wet well-drained spot.

I agree on penstemon, looks most like serrulatus

Hi tbcgron, I am a PhD candidate at UBC studying the biogeography of Erythranthe lewisii (which is the species in the fourth photo you posted - 1D3_8465.jpg). I am sampling E. lewisii leaf tissue and seed range-wide for my thesis research and I am trying to find a known population in Bella Coola (since I can drive there). I realize it has been over 10 years, but do you remember the location info (trail name, GPS coordinates, etc.) where you observed this E. lewisii plant?
