What's this?

    Can you help me identify this plant? Furry stems, cascading red bracts, growing outdoors, summer Boston. Thanks.

    Can't tell what that one is, but the one behind it looks sort of like a Lycopus sp. in the Lamiaceae family.

    Just looked up Ron's post, Amaranthus tricolor, and the one behind it might be the same thing. I'm more familiar with the wild species. That sure is a fancy pigweed!

    Hi, Ron. Is this the same as Joseph's Coat? It really looks quite different although both are called amaranthus tricolor.
