What kind of tree is this?

We can not figure out what type of tree this is. Can anyone help us?

It started at a sapling g the was growing g in out yard and I placed it I a pot last fall. And then this spring it was no bigger than a pencil. Kept watering it and it just took off.

 

Young sweetgum leaves can look similar to that.

 

Difficult to see, but it looks more like a vine than like a tree to me. Are you sure it is a tree?

 

Hibiscus sp.?

Also extreme variants of Morus alba can get this deeply lobed.

 

Here is a close update of the trunk of tree or plant in question. And, here is another view. Now there were a whole lot more leave on it. I think I was over watering it.
