Leaves already look like those of Prunus serotina. Compare also with P. pensylvanica. Perhaps both occur in the area, I don't know. You may have to wait until it is more developed to be able to tell.
I know there are cherry trees in the area but the only ones I have seen baring fruit are these over at Davis Pond. They are in the same forest about two miles away. These pictures are the same trees but taken months apart with different cameras. This is a link to a thread with the pictures of the hike to give you an idea of the area. http://www.wildsurvive.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=73&topic=2957.0
