    Hello all,

I am having trouble identifying the two trees (same kind) in this photo. Could someone help?

A close up of a leaf would help.

Whatever it is, the shape is not natural, but heavily pruned. You won't be able to grow anything the same shape without a lot of difficult (and potentially dangerous!) trimming work.

Bark certainly looks like that of a Ficus. Ask if you can have a twig to take to a local garden center for identification. You are more likely to encounter knowledgeable assistance (and a good range of varieties) at an independent garden center than a big box plant department, where both are often very limited.

Or take a good close-up shot of the foliage and post it here/show it to someone at a nursery.

much appreciated...and I think you got it right, I took that picture in central Mexico. Unfortunately that is the closest "close-up" I have (and didn't think to grab a leaf or sample twig while there). Thanks to everyone that replied...I will start barking up the Ficus tree...
