What kind of tree is this?

    I noticed I have this tree in my yard and it grew from a seed. Some people said its a poplar but I don't think they are right. Its so confusing with this tree.I have seen poplars before and the have silver on one side.

    I think your right but they the grow native here. Im in ontario and I see these all the time. They said that they are native to british columbia. Thanks.

    I'd agree with Bigtooth Aspen (which is a species of poplar: scientific name Populus grandidentata)
