We moved in our house about 4 years ago and the trees were already here. They bloom for about 2 weeks in March and then just have leaves until they fall off in the fall. One of them seems to be dying and I would like to try to help both of them look better. Please help. I've attached a couple of pictures.

    Thanks!

Weeping Japanese flowering cherry. A now very commonly sold and planted one of this type is Snow Fountains ('Snofozam') TM.

Lopping of the branches has spoiled the drooping or cascading effect that is the specific purpose of a weeping variety. New growth should be allowed to trail down.
