What is this red flower with white trim?

    Hello everyone; I took these two pics in mid-August, in Pennsylvania. They were in someone's garden. Very pretty, and I have no idea what they are. I'm a budding photog and would like to name my flower pics accurately! And I might want to plant these in my garden in Michigan. Thanks! /Sue

    That's it ! Thanks. I found it on the Brooklyn Botanical Garden website.

    Described as "a 1946 Classic ... it's small all over, just three to four feet tall, with florets about half the size of most glads..." but it won't get lost in your garden because "it's a blazing scarlet cooled by a silvery picotee edging."
