What is this plant?

    Hey I brought this home from school for my mom thinking she would know what it was and what to do with it but she has no clue what it is or how to take care of it. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks

    I don't know what it is but looking at it it seems to be a soft plant and would need to be kept damp and fed a liquid fertilizer every so often. It certainly is a pretty thing.
