Looks sort of like a Phlox doesn't it? But I think it is Plumbago capensis.

    Agree with Plumbago capensis.

Does anyone know if it will come back every year? I looked it up and one site said yes and one said no.

It is perrenial, so yes it can come back, but it is Zone 9, so will probably not survive winters outdoors where you live. You might want to pot it and overwinter it indoors.

Thanks! I'm trying to learn to garden, but I can't remember anything! I am going to have to write everything down. My Dad has the green thumb of the family, but he is in Panama right now (military).

Thanks Dixie! I have never seen one of those before. The ones that I have, someone gave me for my birthday. I didn't know anything about them. I'll have to find one of those. I love the pale blue.
