what is this beautiful, strange plant?

    Hello Everyone!

    This plant in my garden was killed accidently several years ago, and ever since, I've been trying to find out what it is so that I can try get another one. In this photo, the leaves are somewhat bitten. As you can see the leaves near the flowers are green-blue-purple!

    I would be so happy if someone could tell me what it is. Thank you!!

    i have never seen that plant before ihave seen lots of plant but never that one, sure is beautiful.

    Hello

    commonly called purple wax flower latin Cerinthe major. it is in the borage family and is a great late bloomer
