I am reasonably new to gardening and was wondering if these were berries on the tree and if they are poisionous, Im thinkling about getting a puppy do they eat dropped berries? thank you
This one's a crabapple (Malus). Not poisonous, but too sharp to eat as they are. They make better jam/jelly than the firethorn does. Dogs are less fussy about fruit sharpness than people are, so there's a good chance the puppy will eat them (which is perfectly safe for it)
