In The Garden: What is the name of this ground cover?

    What is the name of this ground cover? Is it some kind of Cotoneaster? Thanks.

    I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but it looks like Vinca to me or white periwinkle or I'm not sure if Vinca is called Catharanthus now.

    yeah that's definitely some kind of cotoneaster; though there are hundreds of varieties so without specific details like maximum height and stuff I really couldn't give a varietal identification.

    There was another Cotoneaster growing next to it, with smaller leaves. May be it will be easier to identify both when seeing them together?

    This type is conventionally always called C. horizontalis but there is actually more than one species like this.
