Hi everyone! I forgot the name of this small tree that blooms all winter. I thought it was something that sounds like woodworthia, but not. This one in the attached pictures is just starting to develop flowers. Thanks in advance
Looks like Edgeworthia chrysantha. One of my favourite spring flowers. The flower buds are now well formed. They will just sit there until the spring when the yellow flowers will open before the leaves. A very interesting shrub. The branches are so flexable you can tie them in a knot. In Japan the bark is used to make high quality paper. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=e....,cf.osb&fp=d0ea520d1f569e70&biw=1265&bih=605 http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=e....,cf.osb&fp=d0ea520d1f569e70&biw=1265&bih=539
