What has pretty purple stems?

    But don't dare eat it.

    Possibly a "Columbine", Aquilegia or a Thalictrum. Can only be sure when it blooms.

    Agree with Aquilegia (Columbine). Like most plants in the family Ranunculaceae, it is poisonous, so don't go eating it.

    Yah! I crossed it off the ingredients of my Exotic salad list of ingredients.
