In The Garden: What are these trees?

I recently bought a house in Calgary and this spring I found some plants in my backyard. I dont know whether these are shrubs or trees. Initially I thought of removing these as I was planning to put some blackberry and raspberry bush there. But instead of cutting it off I transplanted them into pots, and though of checking with the local garden centre before discarding. But no luck there. Can any one please identify these plants?

2. looks like an aspen or a poplar (Populus)
3. looks like a Padus (cherry or bird cherry)
4. maybe a lilac (Syringa)?
5. looks like a willow (Salix)
6. maybe an apple tree (Malus)?

 

1 and 4 also look like a Prunus to me.

 

I thought the irregular leaf margins on 3 look like Prunus avium, sweet cherry.

 

1. looks lika a birch (Betula), but there are similarities with several different species.

 

Ah, yes, it could be that.

Unfortunately I dont have a big backyard, so may have to select which one to plant and which to be discarded. Probably I will wait for next spring
