This weed, with a little yellow flower and a leaf reminiscent of a wild strawberry is everywhere this year, sometimes in the vegetable garden, sometimes in expanding clumps in wasteland.
    Location: Kent, England.

Agree with Creeping Cinquefoil - a native wildflower, not a weed.

We're not even talking about a weed in one country being native in another - @pierrot 's link is to an RHS page, where they write about its "invasive habit". To be fair, they don't actually say it IS invasive - they do say "native to UK grassland and hedgebanks", but they have it filed under "weeds" on their website.
