The predominant one here is Bohemian knotweed, the hybrid between Japanese and giant knotweeds, which are much less abundant in this region.
Thank you for the heads up. We live in Ohio and I had no idea this plant was even present here, now I read it is a noxious weed here too. Seems like all we do is fight invasive plants. Just yesterday I cut some Japanese honeysuckle off of some native black walnut trees that were getting strangled. Next to that were some Ailanthus trees (you have no idea how much I hate those things).
