    Thanks in advance!

The second one is the one with the rounded/divided leaves. It has small light purple flowers.

    #1 Might be Mirabilis jalapa.

At first glance, I believed so as well, then I saw the pictures of the flower anatomy, and this plant has clusters of about ten flowers per...I'm not sure what to call it...per "bud" I guess? Does that make sense?

I believe that number 1's leaves are too oblong to be this. I have a lot of the Mirabilis jalapa (or something similar) and these leaves are rather dark and much more oblong (proportionally) than the four o'clocks in my yard. It is a possibility that they are different varieties. I guess I will wait til it flowers before I make a decision to pull it or not. (Of course, pulling it would show me what kind of root structure it has, and that may help in identifying it.)

Wow, so another one of these things!?!?
I had some very irresponsible people living here before me! I have about 50 of these in my side yard alone, varying sizes! It's rather annoying, and to think I thought the flowers were pretty....now they are the bain of my existence!
