Wildflowers: Vine (?) With Flower Spikes In Colombia

    Does anyone recognize this? It's growing in quite a tangle and I can't see where it originates but I think it is a woody vine attached to a large tree. Spikes are about a foot long.

    Resembles Cyrilla.

    Thank you Ron B the leaves certainly do but I find no reference to the spikes with red flowers when I look up Cyrilla.
