The following was received via email: Just a quick question: right now an incredible hedge shrub is in bloom (in Vancouver) with very tropical looking large pink flowers in abudance; it has yellow stamens that also seem to have a few tiny petals at the end and glossy serrated leaves. The neighborhood is full of it and I have no idea what it's called...
