[GMAP][/GMAP]There are two very different species here; acknowledged. I intended to ask only about the rather exquisite, liquidy red berries on a number of deceased twigs hanging around the seawall near Brockton Point. The bigger, tougher berries on the leathery-leafed thickets by Lost Lagoon are decidedly from a rougher neighborhood. However, as they are also red berries, I threw them in at the last moment, hoping thereby to become twice as well educated. Thank you.
Bittersweet nightshade and a cotoneaster. If you show more of the latter it may become possible to suggest a particular species.
Here are two more photos. Both your answers surprised me, as I thought I was being quite stupid in not recognizing native species from this area. I feel much better if I were merely being stupid regarding introduced species. Thank you so much.
