I have a tree in front of my house that produces very unusual leaves in the fall, each with a very different print of another leaf within that leaf. I am including a picture. Can you help me identify it? Is it something unusual that happens to the tree that causes this to happen?
I just looked up Callery pear tree, and you may be right, it seems like it may be it...! can't find close-up pictures of these trees in the fall though...
Yes Callery Pear. For fall images check here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/clicksnappy/galleries/72157625383314607
Wow, those are some impressive photographs. The other plant galleries put together by clicksnappy are also quite beautiful. Nice to see such a collection of artistic images of a particular taxon.
