Thanks Wendy for your help in identifying that sourwood tree. Another common name for it is the Lily of the Valley tree. If you aren't already aware of it, a very good website for plant identification is: http://oregonstate.edu/dept/ldplants/ Click on the common name list, and search for sourwood. it is interesting to note that this tree may grow to 100 ft.
