Unknown stinky plant

    growing like wildfire in Sugar land Tx. Just bought the house and these plants shot up from 6 inches and smaller to now 1 to 1'1/2 feet.

    Growing sparse pedals on top now

    and have a hairy stalk, that oozes when injured.

    weather has been warm mornings 70's cold nights 50's with some rain
    area gets lots of sun
    and smells like poop (but its the plants, probably)

    thank you yes that's it, they (previous owners) must have planted seeds before they left the house. has a strong odor at times, are there less stinky versions.
