Unknown Plant from Hawaii

I'll looking for the names of the following plants seen at botanical garden in Hawaii.

Aloha,
The plant in the fourth picture is the fruit of Bixa orellana, Achiote. Wikipedia has a good article on it.
This first picture might be a species of Mussaenda.

#3 could possibly be Lagerstroemia speciosa, Queen's crape myrtle. It's the right color, even if the inflorescences don't project beyond the crown. They're flowering here.

 

Thank you all for your help. Too bad the garden didn't have any signs. Does anybody recognize #2 ?

No 2 is a Diospyros species
