    Defintely in the Vanda alliance....That's as helpful as I can be, sorry.

    It's a vandaceous orchid but if it is a hybrid, and it likely is, finding the parent's names without a tag would require someone with a photographic memory. Many hybridized orchids look very much alike with only minor differences. Dr. Martin R. Motes near Homestead, FL would be your very best source at a good guess. Dr. Motes has an excellent book called Vandas, Their Botany, History and Culture. I've found him to be very good at offering help. But sorry, I no longer have a good email address. If you can find a copy of his book you may find information to help you solve your mystery.
