Unknown ground cover plant

    This low growing ground cover plant is no more than 3" high and has spread over an area of about 6 sq feet over the past two years. It is very hardy because we have had temperatures down to 15 deg F and it is still doing well as shown in the attached photo. Can anyone identify what it is?

    It is one of the cultivars of Lamium maculatum. One would have to see it in flower to determine which one. Joe

    My first thought was the variety 'Nancy's White'. If it has pink flowers it is 'Beacon Silver'. It is an aggressive plant, make sure and stop it from spreading further when it finishes covering the area you want. Lamium galeobdolon 'Hermann's Pride' is now an official class "C" noxious weed in Washington state.

    If that one is listed it may be a mistake, the weedy one is 'Florentinum' ('Variegatum').
