Hi, Can you please help identify this flowering plant.This plant has 5 petals of cream color and corrugated leaves. Please find the attachment containing the photo of the plant.
It's hard to tell by the shape of the leaves (they're a little blurry) but the flowers look like a type of hibiscus. From what I can tell from google, there are hundreds of species of hibiscus, so an exact identification might take a bit more work. Hope this helps you get a little closer though!
Hi, Thanks..Though it is quiet a old post, I have positively identified the plant today as Hibiscus surattensis with the help from a local botanist friend.

Agree, Turnera subulata . It does appear similar to surattensis, but the biggest difference I think is the leaves.
