The flowers were taken in the McDowell Mountain Regional Park, along the Dixie Mine Trail. North of Fountain Hill, Arizona in Maricopa County at an elevation of 690 meters on May 18th. The leaves look like it belongs to the Cupressaceae family. Can anyone make an ID?
    Thanks, Mike

A species of tamarisk Tamarix sp., family Tamaricaceae; a flowering plant, not a conifer.

An invasive alien plant in Arizona; the genus is native to drier areas of the Old World (S Europe, N Africa, SW & Central Asia).
