Unidentified beauty from Japan

    What is this woody (?) plant?
    It's perfectly strange for me.

    I've looked it up on a Japanese webpage and it was signed 'aoba' (although I doubt this is relevant).

    Oh, I just identified it myself.
    Ugh, it took me a couple of minutes or so.
    Sorry for wasting a click.

    Anyway, it's Symplocos caudata.
    Hope this genus will become more common.
