Typha / Cattails

Hi,
is there any way of getting a positive id on species of the Cattails attached?

The pictures are taken in the Black Dog park in Minnesota, two weeks.

Any help appreciated, including no it's not possible...

Lesser Bulrush Typha angustifolia. Note the slender leaves, and the gap of smooth green stem between the top of the seedhead, and the rougher grey top part of the spike where the male flowers had been: http://ip30.eti.uva.nl/BIS/flora.php?selected=beschrijving&menuentry=soorten&record=Typha%20angustifolia
