Trying to identify this plant - perennial

    This plant was a gift to me & I would like to find out what it is. It bloomed in spring & early summer in SD with a pink flower, with points on it somewhat resembling a columbine. The closeup photo I have of the leaves is in the fall, however during the growing season the leaf is all green. Do you have any idea what it could be? The summertime photo of this plant is to the left side of this photo next to the tree stump.

    Leaves look sort of like a Geranium sp., but with a flower with "points" or spurs, it might be a Columbine, Aquilegia sp. or something else in the Ranunculaceae family, such as Larkspur, Delphinium sp. It is difficult to see flower details from the photo. Here is a key to the Ranunculaceae...
