Got two plants one I know is a type of banana plant but not sure which one and the other I've forgotten the name. Also how far up can I prune that one palm like plant without harming it?
Musa acuminata ssp. zebrina (probably) and Yucca guatemalensis. As with any plant they don't have excess leaves so you shouldn't remove anything that's not damaged or diseased.
