I planted the trunk of a small tree that had grown out the side of my parents house. They wanted it gone. I didn't think it would live but here it is, months later. Anyone know what kind of tree this is? How large can they grow and will they damage a home's foundation? And this year, these tall weed like plants started growing out. Never seen them before. They're almost as tall as I am now, just under 6 feet. The white puffs look like dandelion balls but they aren't as "fluffy" as dandelions. Never seen a weed this tall before. Is it a weed? should I dig it up and get rid of it? Thanks~
