Every year I am here with yet another slew of "weed or not weed questions". Here is the first of the season -- please help ID! It's the same plant, full view and zoom in (ignore red -- those are tulip petals all over the place). Thank you!!
I did that last year, and it didn't bloom :) But this year it's much bigger (last year didn't go above a bushy 10 cm, now about 30-40 with actual stalks), aren't some plants on some two-year schedule? The problem with wait-and-see approach is that some of those things become unmanageable (we had an infestation of pokeweed which thankfully got IDed here quickly, but the two-year-old ones were a nightmare to dig up!). So in other words, if anybody has ideas, I really welcome them...
