we have two old pear trees in the yard that are laden with tiny little fruits that are more round than pear shaped. As you can see from the photo they are hardly 2 inches wide. A friend got excited when he saw them and said they made excellent wine, but he didn't know what they were called. They are very green, but are just falling off the tree now (october 22). When I cut one open it wasn't very sweet or juicy, but didn't taste all that bad. I'd really like to know what kind of pear this is. Thanks for any help.
Welcome. Please can you add more photos~praps a good close up the leaves, and one of the whole tree.It might help to pin it down.
