The bird has a name, but the tree does not.

Yes, I realize there's a hummingbird in it. The problem for me is that while I know for certain what the bird is, I've got divided opinions as to the tree.

I've hear both Avocado and Mango for it. It's about 15 feet tall, the new leaves are red, and the leaves have a crackly texture and herbal smell. I'm having doubts about Mango, since the leaves don't have that turpentine-y scent I associate with members of the genus Mangifera. It has never fruited, to my knowledge, nor has it bloomed. Either of these would make it definitive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It does look similar to Avocado and they can also have an herbal odor to the leaves.
