Hey guys, i need some help with identifying a flower. I made this account just so I could figure out what this thing is. I've attached a picture (I think). It is probably about 10-12 inches in diameter, and i found it in a chaparral-like area in Southern California (between LA and Santa Barbara). The first one i have ever seen was on the beach, and i have seen many on a particular hike about 15 minutes from the beach. My fiance and I discovered this flower on our very first date, and we would like to use it in our wedding, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Kyle
