Here's a little beauty that popped up in an area I normally reserve for wildflowers at my property near Big Sky, Montana at an elevation of 8,000'.
Can anyone tell me what it is?
The plant stands about 10" tall, and has needle-like leaves. There were a few blossoms on the plant, but I snipped off a couple in order to get a clear picture of the most symetrical of them. The flower is approximately 1/2" in length.

    Thanks Michael.
You helped me narrow it down. I think the little fellow is Annual Toadflax (Linaria maroccana)
