I've seen these little plants all over the place, but I haven't been able to identify them. Here are my field notes and some sketches :)

Flowers: Less than 1" long & 1/8" wide, pale pink. Cup-like shape with two small purple lobes at the opening. A hood-like appendage curves over the top, covering four or five small stamens with white filaments, tiny black anthers, and yellow pollen. The flowers are seemingly randomly scattered throughout a system of small, purple leaves. Less than seven flowers per structure. Entire flowering structure rarely over 5 1/2" tall.
Stems: Many stems growing from a single root. The stems lie along the ground, the ends bending up to support the flowering body and leaves. The stems have four sides and are covered in fine but sturdy white hair.
Leaves: Cardate and covered in delicate hair; ~1 1/4" long along the stem. The veins are quite apparent as they pull the surface of the leaf down into an almost grid-like pattern. The edges are crenulate. The leaves grow in groups along the stem, with many opposite pairs of leaves sprouting from a single 'node'. Some of the stems of the leaves are red. The leaves growing at the tips of the flowering bodies are purple and directly opposite, alternating from north-south to east-west down, and very closely packed together.
Location: My backyard in Portland, OR. :) A wet, cool and moderately sunny area. Temperature ranges between the mid 40s to mid 60s.

Sorry I couldn't get a picture. I don't have a digital camera :( I originally thought this flower might be in the figwort family because of how its flowers are arranged, but its leaf arrangement more resembles something from the mint family :S

Thanks for helping me sort this little devil out :)

Hmmm. Perhaps Lamium purpureum? See this link to the USDA Plant Profile page for an excellent image with which to compare.
