This is a plant that was found growing in central Alberta this spring. It's very strong and durable and this particular sample stands about 8' tall. It's solid, not hollow, and was growing around fields, not around any body of water. I have no idea what kind of plant this is, and it doesn't help that I can't see the leaves. Any ideas?
