Walking through the trails in Stanley Park (Vancouver) last week and came across this flower. Rather unique, curious as to the species. Thanks.
Sadly this is another plant that has had a name change...now called Chamaenerion angustifolia. Chamaenerion angustifolium - Wikipedia
Sad for sure! You have to wonder why, almost invariably, new names are even more difficult to pronounce than the old ones.
