? some kind of plum

    This is probably to easy too, but I don't have a picture of any flowers which makes it a bit more difficult.

    Hey Daniel...why was this thread moved I thought it was obvious it was a Stumper. John fits the criteria. Maybe I'm missing something :/

    Yes, John sent me an email asking me to move it into the plant ID forum. I don't think he intended it as a stumper, as he'd like an answer to what it actually is.

    Looks like an ornamental pincherry to me; they're everywhere in Alberta. I'd suggest waiting for it to flower and or fruit.
