At community farm in Richmond, I was trying to locate some purple tomato reported by a friend. In the search, found these reddish stalks. I remember seeing something like these in Costa Rica. Are they some kind of ginger plants.
Yes, this looks like Arum italicum. I posted one for ID around 10 years ago, in a long thread that's half about Paulownia and half about what looks like the same as this (and another half scolding me for renaming my threads :). Arum italicum: spikes with red fruit clusters; and Paulownia tomentosa
