Solved: Solidago canadensis

    Does anyone recognize this plant? It's the right habitat for Veronica but has alternating stems. Found in a wetland near standing water. I want to say Epilobium ciliatum... but not sure.

    Looks like Solidago sp., goldenrod.

    Ah, yes. Solidago. After admiring it in the wild, I planted it in my garden; big mistake. It is undeniably beautiful but knows no bounds. For what it's worth, I think the one I'm trying to rein in is Solidago canadensis.
