Hello, All! I just moved to a new house in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and have several unknowns (to me) in the back yard. I posted a separate question in the fruit/nut tree forum, and this one doesn't seem to be an edible. There are 2 of them, both seemingly volunteers. They're beautiful! I'd love to know what they are so I can see about putting them in a proper spot.
Both are Euonymus sp. It is poisonous . https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=e...IMqxPJSDgZgE&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1536&bih=728 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euonymus_europaeus They are beautiful shrubs. The flowers are small and easily missed. Some are evergreen, others have colourful seed pods with leaves that turn a lovely colour in the autumn. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=e...&sa=X&ei=n3IUVMf6IIbZOfb_gbgD&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ
