    Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help me identify the following plants? These small, flowered plants all seemed to have become noticeable only since early May, in the trails of Burnaby Mountain:

Pictures 1-3: A small plant with 4-petal white flowers, and a variety of leaf shapes
Pictures 4-5: Very small flowers on wire-y stems
Pictures 6-8: At first I thought this was the same species as in Pics 4-5, because the leaves look so similar. But here the flowers are white and 6-petaled.

    Thank you very much!

    Jason

1-3 Cardamine sp., maybe Cardamine hirsuta.

4-8 Trientalis sp.; in 4-5 the flowers are finished and only the sepals remain, in 6-8 the petals are still present.
